Terms of Service

Use of the service

YTubeOpen is an MVP smart-link service for YouTube video links. You may use it to create short links that attempt to open YouTube through the fastest available path and provide a fallback browser link.

Acceptable use

Do not use YTubeOpen for spam, phishing, malware, harassment, illegal content, deceptive redirects, or links that violate YouTube, Google, Instagram, Meta, TikTok, or Facebook platform rules. We may block, delete, or disable links and accounts that appear abusive or risky.

Free tier

The free tier currently includes 10 active links and 500 counted human clicks per month. Reaching a free-tier cap may block new link creation, but existing active links should continue working unless they are blocked for abuse, policy, or security reasons.

Analytics limitations

Analytics are directional and depend on browser, app, network, and privacy controls. YTubeOpen does not guarantee measurement of true YouTube app-open success, watch time, views, likes, comments, or subscriptions.

Availability and changes

The service is provided as-is. We may change limits, features, domains, routing behavior, or pricing as the product evolves. We may suspend or terminate access if continued use creates security, operational, legal, or abuse risk.

Email communications

YTubeOpen may send account verification, password reset, billing, subscription, support, terms, product, and upgrade emails. Product and upgrade emails can be disabled from account settings or through the unsubscribe controls included in marketing emails.

Third-party services

YTubeOpen depends on third-party platforms and APIs, including Supabase, Resend, Vercel, Cloudflare, Google, and YouTube. Their behavior, availability, and policies may affect YTubeOpen.
